Lagos
This beautiful coastal community, in the southern Algarve region of Portugal, is the historic center of the Portuguese Age of Discovery. Meia Praia Beach and Ponta da Piedade are just two of the many places people gather to enjoy rock formations, warm weather and natural beauty.
We love that this ancient maritime town boasts over 2,000 years of history and an abundance of exciting locations to explore. Old Town Lagos is partially enclosed by castle walls, originally built by the Moors in the eighth century. History aside, we’ve also discovered plenty of remarkable people, meals, golf courses and other activities in this friendly oasis.
